Return and Refund Policy
Originals (one-of-one artworks)

Because each piece is an original, all original artwork sales are final and not eligible for return or exchange.

Damages, defects, or issues in transit

Every artwork is packed carefully and shipped tracked + insured. Signature is required for orders $1,000+.

Please inspect your delivery upon arrival. If your artwork arrives damaged, appears defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact me within 48 hours of delivery at hello@mayafakart.com and include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the artwork

  • Photos of the packaging (including the box exterior and interior materials)

I’ll review the information and work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Returns (non-original items, if applicable)

If a product on this site is marked as return-eligible, we offer a 30-day return window, meaning you have 30 days after delivery to request a return.

To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it, unused, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.

To request a return, email hello@mayafakart.com. If approved, you’ll receive return instructions (and a return label if applicable). Items sent back without an approved return request will not be accepted.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unless required by law, we do not accept returns for:

  • Original artworks

  • Commissioned or custom works

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If an item is return-eligible, the quickest way to get what you want is to request a return (if approved) and place a new order.


European Union: 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, except where exclusions apply (for example, commissioned/custom works and certain goods may be exempt under applicable law). Items must be returned in the same condition received, unused, and in original packaging, with proof of purchase. To request a cancellation/return, email hello@mayafakart.com.


Refunds (for approved returns only)

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you whether your refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks and card issuers may take additional time to post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact hello@mayafakart.com.
