Wow begins the word Wadood, a name that speaks to divine love. Turquoise is repeated throughout Middle Eastern architecture and, in mystical tradition, is associated with beauty and sustenance. In this piece, I intersect the lines to focus on the feeling of a divine embrace. When love is returned, it becomes bliss. Of all the works in this series, this one carries an energy I keep coming back to.
