The Arabic letter Wow is the beginning of "wadood," the word used to describe God's divine love. According to mystics, turquoise is said to be a color that increases sustenance and beauty, and is repeated often in architecture all over the Middle East. It had to make its way into the collection!
I thought it fitting to intersect the lines in this piece to focus on the idea of a divine embrace. When love is reciprocated, it becomes bliss. Of all the different pieces in this series, Wow has an energy I can't explain, but I've been drawn to look at it over and over.
